Gluten-free food log, day 12

I think I’ll quit with the gluten-free coming Saturday. It’ll have been about two weeks then. Also, I have a rather full weekend, starting with band stuff, then work, then a work-related party, then back to home for some more band stuff. While gluten-free would be doable during all that with the right preparation, the party promises to have good food and I don’t want to think of anything beyond the veganness of it all.

Gluten-free food log, day 4
Breakfast
Lunch
Still not 100% sure the food was totally gluten-free because of the shoyu.
Dinner
Snacks
So far I’m not noticing anything particularly different about my general well-being, though I am fairly mellow for someone who’s been a bad girl about going to bed on time lately.
I went to the organic supermarket after work to buy some fruit and veg (and buckwheat! The roasted kind) but I forgot to buy me some tamari. That kind of sucks. I guess I’ll have to go back for it later.

Gluten-free food log, day 2
Breakfast
The rest of the Zonnatura popcorn-rice cakes, mostly with the broccoli spread this time (which I just realised probably has shoyu in it. Drat!), but also one with ajvar. Strangely, it seemed to taste somewhat saltier than it did yesterday.

Dinner

A visit to the (regular) supermarket made me realise that going there is even more pointless now. I’ve always been able to avoid over half the isles because if they had vegan food at all it was vegan food I didn’t want (sweets, biscuits, drinks, and crisps mostly) and I kind of like getting my fruit and veg organic. For this project I can avoid pretty much every isle containing mostly processed foods, which means there’s really not much left.
Plenty, though.
Of course, it’s a little different in organic supermarkets, but even there there’s a good deal of stuff that’s simply not interesting to me.
So much pointless food…
